Extra Curricular
At Oldfield we offer very popular before and after school activities. Our provision for extracurricular activities is regarded as a strength of the school.
These include activities such as:
judo, piano, Mandarin Chinese, football, rugby, netball, choir, yoga, French, Spanish, and violin to name but a few.
Sport and health are very important at Oldfield. We run a number of teams in a variety of sports – we have close links with a number of local rugby, cricket and football clubs and qualified parents also help to run clubs. A list of activities is sent out termly.
Parents of children in Reception and Key Stage 1 who are taking part in any activities that require a change of clothes, will need to come to school at 3.20pm to get them changed and register with the club leader.
For all outdoor clubs, Parents/Carers will need to collect the children promptly at the finish time from the Key Stage Two blue gate by the playground / field. If you wish to watch the children during their time at the club, you will be able to do so from behind the blue fence in the staff car park.
