Out of hours care

Oldfield Primary offers two types of out of hours care:

Early Risers

The school offers a breakfast club – Early Risers, which looks after children from 8.00am through to the start of the school day.

A full session starts at 8.00am., the children are provided with cereal or toast and a drink. After breakfast they are able to take part in organised and supervised activities, or sit quietly and read or finish homework before beginning the school day. The cost of a full session is £3.50 with breakfast, £2.50 without.

As an alternative we offer a half session. Children can be dropped off at 8.25am and they will be looked after by our staff until the start of the school day, they have the same opportunity to join in activities or finish homework. The cost of a half session is £1.50.

Children must be registered first and booking forms completed to give details of days and times required (preferably at least a week in advance). You must come in on the first day of any new booking to sign your child in.

A full pack of information is available here or from the pigeon holes in reception.

Wise Owls

Wise Owls After School Clubs opened in September 2006 and accepts children aged 3 years to 14 years.

Wise Owls After School Clubs aim to make the life of working parents less stressful so that the time spent at home with their children is both peaceful and enjoyable. Parents appreciate our flexibility and value the service that we supply.

Our daily routine involves theme-based activities often inspired by the children, so that they can relax and enjoy themselves with us. We offer structured sport and craft based activities and provide homework sessions as well as an evening meal

Each child’s requirements and abilities are valued. We intend our clubs to be a fun and stimulating time for the children, not just somewhere to go.
