On Thursday 4th June 2026, Oldfield sent a team of excellent year 4s to the Rotary Club's annual maths competition. This was the first time the school has taken part in the competition hosted at All Saints School. 
 

The team competed against 16 other teams and completed over 24 word problems in under an hour.
